TERMS OF SERVICE
Acceptance of Terms:
By scheduling services with Good Works Laundry Co., you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Machine Washable Items:
We process items that are suitable for water washing and tumble drying. Good Works Laundry Co. is not liable for damage to items that do not conform to this standard washing routine. Please note, that we do not individually check clothing tags for washing instructions.
Damaged Items:
We are not responsible for pre-existing weaknesses or defects in materials that may result in damage during the washing process. This includes but is not limited to tears, small holes, or fabric deterioration.
Liability Limitations:
Our liability for any damage to laundry items shall not exceed twice the cleaning charge for the affected garment. We cannot guarantee against color loss, bleeding, shrinkage, or damage to delicate items (including accessories like belts, buttons, beads, ties, or zipper pulls).
Pocket Contents:
Customers are responsible for checking all pockets before sending items for laundry. We are not liable for loss or damage from items left in pockets.
Reporting Damaged Items:
Damaged items must be reported to GoodWorksLaundryCo@gmail.com and returned for inspection within 5 days of delivery.
Contaminated Items:
We do not accept items contaminated with bodily fluids, excessive pet hair, moisture, mildew, bedbugs, poison ivy/oak oils, or hazardous chemicals, for our team's and other customers' safety.
Lost Items:
Report lost items via email to GoodWorksLaundryCo@gmail.com within 5 days. We will endeavor to track and replace lost items. Reimbursement will be offered if replacement is not possible. Items are considered lost after 10 days from the initial claim.
Pick-up/Drop-off Liability:
We are not responsible for items before pick-up or after drop-off. Customers receive text notifications during these processes and are responsible for ensuring item safety.
Dry Cleaning Items:
Please exclude dry-clean-only items from wash-and-fold laundry. We are not responsible for damage to these items.
Stains:
While we attempt to remove stains, we cannot guarantee complete removal. Please provide specific instructions or information regarding stains for best results.
Minimum Order Fee:
A $45 minimum order fee applies for non-subscription customers. All orders must be paid in full before delivery.
